Dinosaur Moveable Museum: American Museum of Natural History

Landing page for Feathered Dinosaur Interactive for AMNHMediaCombo’s challenge was to develop three computer programs for the Dinosaur Moveable Museum that would help kids quickly understand big topics: dinosaur evolution, and the possible causes of extinction 65 million years ago.

The Dinosaur Moveable brings the latest discoveries abut dinosaurs to schools, libraries and community centers around New York City, in a 37′ long converted recreational vehicle, in an exhibition designed for Grades 3-8.

The Trackways interactive we developed focuses on what paleontologists have learned about dinosaur behavior from studying their footprints.

The Feathers interactive highlights the connections between dinosaurs and birds.

How a Dinosaur Becomes a Fossil, the 3-D animation we directed, follows a coelophysis from its death 200 million years ago to its discovery as a fossil in 20th century New Mexico.
