Websites for an Organization and its Print Fair

Designing one CMS to manage two websites

MediaCombo has been working with the International Fine Print Dealers Association on its websites since 2009. That year we designed and built two business websites for the IFPDA, one to promote their highly anticipated annual IFPDA Print Fair, and one to represent their 160 international member art dealers.

The two websites have been updated continually with new features and designs, including a mobile version of the print fair site.

The sites were designed to maximize exposure to images of fine art prints, and to introduce each member dealer in a special feature.

We developed a customized Drupal database and Content Management System to support both the association and print fair sites. The CMS allows for multi-level site administration, so that office staff and member art dealers can publish new content, text and images to specific areas of the site at their convenience.

It also supports a Calendar of print related exhibitions, events and art fairs around the world.


In 2015 the IFPDA decided it was time to completely upgrade and redesign the association site. We began a site analysis and conducted audience research to help shape the redesign. Currently the user experience phase has been completed and graphic design will start soon. The new site will launch in October, 2016.
